...on the River Gomti

The once notorious Jiamao village, 100m from Martinpurwa, now has grown and stretched right to the river. Last week I'd gone to a home there to attend a funeral so while inspecting some of the construction work taking place on the embankment I took a few pics.
Feb 25, 2011 almost one year after the boat pic was taken, same spot across the river. Note how close that bank has come. There is heavy work taking place the other side. Let's wait and watch...
